Hello! I need your honest opinion Deviant Artists...
These are Reichenbach Falls charms (For a Sherlock commission) And I would love your feedback.
On the left is a textured polymer clay 'canvas' painted with acrylic paints. Pros: I love the texture. Cons: Poor definition.
On the right is a Polymer clay frame and the 'canvas' is a hand penciled shrink plastic (ShrinkyDinks) impression. Pros: Awesome clarity. Cons: Doesn't fit into frame well and had little texture.
But what do you think? Left or right? Another idea I had was to print a little Reichenbach Falls out and glue it into another frame I have and stipple so it gets a canvasy texture.
Or any other helpful hints?

Is there a chance you could find a tighter texture for the canvas on the left? So the texture doesn't take away from the print?
On a real canvas, the material is that defined. What did you use to make the texture? I was thinking a cloth napkin might be usable because the woven pattern should be a bit tighter.
