Silver Time

Handmade Silver Pocket Watch.

I break watches up to get at the cogs for when I'm feeling a little "Steampunk" (Beats paying £10 and up for a bag of bits that would cost me £3 for a couple of old watches)
But the great thing about doing this is all the bits you dont normally get with a bought bag of bits, things like this retro watch face.

I used some handmade silver tinted clay (grey clay with transparent, glitter of various sizes and eye shadow powder) and set the watch face in. Watch face is covered in a layer of liquid clay and has been varnished 3 times for protection and shine.
